2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Trim Levels
According to the Asheville GMC dealership, the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 is offered in eight trim levels: Sierra Pro, SLE, Elevation, SLT, AT4, Denali, AT4X and Denali Ultimate. Rear-wheel drive is standard on most trims. The AT4, Denali, AT4X and Denali Ultimate are all-wheel-drive models. The other trims get all-wheel drive as an option. The Sierra 1500 Pro is equipped with a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque, teamed to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It includes power door locks and windows, cloth seats, LED daytime running lights, a rearview camera, air conditioning, and a 12-volt auxiliary front power outlet. Also standard is a 3.5-inch monochromatic driver information center, a color infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, an audio system with six speakers, and USB ports.
Standard safety features include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, forward collision warning with automated emergency braking, Teen Driver and a rear-seat reminder.
2022 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE
The Sierra 1500 SLE gets the same engine as the Pro. It gains two available powerplants: a 5.3-liter V8 and a 3.0-liter turbodiesel six-cylinder engine. Standard features include remote start, keyless open and start, heated driver and front outboard passenger seats, a 10-way power driver seat with power lumbar, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a trailering package. The SLE also gets cruise control, a 12-volt auxiliary rear power outlet, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a three-month satellite radio trial subscription, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation
The Sierra 1500 Elevation gets the same standard and available engines as the SLE. It comes with an automatic locking rear differential, a trailer hitch, and a rear window defogger.
2022 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT
The Sierra 1500 SLT trim employs the 5.3-liter V8, coupled to a 10-speed automatic gearbox. The turbodiesel powerplant is optional. The SLT includes driver memory, a 10-way power front passenger seat, an HD Rear Vision Camera, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, two 120-volt box-mounted power outlets, and a 12-volt auxiliary rear power outlet. This trim also comes with the ProGrade Trailering System, Hitch Guidance with Hitch View, an in-vehicle trailering app, and SiriusXM radio.

All-wheel drive is standard, as is an off-road suspension, ventilated driver and front passenger seats, front bucket seats, a dual-outlet exhaust, premium front and rear floor liners with a removable carpet insert, hill descent control and skid plates.
