The 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited is available in six trims: Pro, SLE, Elevation, SLT, AT4 and Denali. Three cab styles are available: Regular Cab, Double Cab and Crew Cab. Buyers can choose one of three cargo bed sizes.

Four engines are on offer:

• Turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine good for 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque, teamed to an eight-speed automatic gearbox
• 5.3-liter V8 making 355 hp and 383 lb-ft, coupled to an eight- or 10-speed automatic
• 6.2-liter V8 developing 420 hp and 460 lb-ft, matched to a ten-speed automatic
• 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel inline-six engine generating 277 hp and 460 lb-ft, mated to a ten-speed automatic

Standard features for the base Pro trim include 17-inch painted silver wheels, a four-way manual-adjust seat, LED headlights, a tilt-only steering wheel, manual windows, a six-speaker audio system (Double Cab and Crew Cab models), a 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and two USB ports.

At the top of the lineup, the Denali trim comes with 20-inch wheels, a two-speed transfer case (for four-wheel-drive models), an adaptive suspension, ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, side steps, a power-sliding rear window, a digital instrument cluster, a Bose premium stereo setup, and a wireless phone charger.
