The 2024 Sierra 1500 is offered in eight trim levels: Pro, SLE, Elevation, SLT, AT4, AT4X, Denali, and Denali Ultimate. The Sierra 1500 is offered in three cab configurations: regular, double, and crew cab. According to the Asheville GMC dealership, four engines are available, starting with a turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder that generates 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. There’s a 3.0-liter inline-six turbodiesel good for 305 hp and an impressive 495 lb-ft of torque. The lineup also includes a 5.3-liter V8 engine producing 355 hp and 383 lb-ft and a 6.2-liter V8 developing 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft.

    2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Pro
    Outfitted for durability and convenience, the Sierra 1500 Pro base model rolls out with vinyl floors, cloth or vinyl seats, and 17-inch steel wheels under its rugged frame. It adds practical exterior touches like heated mirrors, LED headlights, and chrome-finished bumpers. A remote entry system and a steering wheel with tilt adjustment enhance the driving experience. In the tech arena, it comes with a 7-inch touchscreen, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a six-speaker stereo system (double and crew cab). Safety is bolstered by lane-keeping assist, frontal collision mitigation, and integrated OnStar services for navigation and emergencies.

    The SLE trim builds on the Pro’s equipment with 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry and ignition, an automatic-locking rear differential, and LED cargo area lighting. Comfort features include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, and a heated tilt/telescoping steering wheel. Dual-zone climate control and plush carpeting refine the interior, while technology gets a boost from digital gauges, a 13.4-inch infotainment display, satellite radio, two power outlets, extended USB connectivity, and practical rear under-seat storage.

    The SLT trim features 18-inch wheels and chrome accents for a touch of elegance. Inside, leather seats provide comfort and luxury, complemented by the convenience of heated and power-folding auto-dimming rearview and driver’s side mirrors. The front passenger gets a power-adjustable seat, while drivers can set and save their seat position with memory settings. For ease during inclement weather, rain-sensing wipers are also included.

    The Denali trim carries over the AT4X’s comprehensive safety suite, minus adaptive cruise control.
