The 2024 GMC Canyon redefines the midsize pickup segment, blending dynamic driving, advanced off-road capabilities, and premium interior quality. Aimed at buyers at dealerships like the Asheville GMC dealer seeking superior standards in capability, cabin luxury, and engine performance, the Canyon distinguishes itself from its competitors, adeptly balancing utility with comfort and passenger convenience. The introduction of the AT4X AEV variant elevates off-road performance, while the Denali trim focuses on luxury, offering a refined experience. But the Canyon is still fully capable of handling work duties; the Canyon Elevation is the right choice for those needing a dependable midsize truck for work sites.

The Canyon is offered in four trim levels: Elevation, AT4, AT4X, and Denali. It’s powered by a turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine that pumps out a robust 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque, paired with an efficient eight-speed automatic transmission. The Elevation trim gets standard rear-wheel drive and optional four-wheel drive. All other models boast standard all-wheel drive, enhancing capability and performance. According to the Asheville Chevrolet GMC dealer, The Canyon impresses with its towing capacity, leading its class with the ability to tow up to 7,700 pounds when properly equipped.

2024 GMC Canyon Trim Levels
    2024 GMC Canyon Elevation
    The base canyon Elevation trim comes with 18-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, a lifted off-road-tuned suspension, push-button start, LED headlights, cloth seating, rear bumpers with integrated corner steps, and a remote locking tailgate. Also standard is an 11-inch digital instrument cluster, an 11.3-inch infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a six-speaker stereo system, and OnStar connected services.

    Standard driver assistance features include lane departure mitigation, forward collision warning with automatic braking, and trailering assistance camera views.

    2024 GMC Canyon AT4
    The AT4 trim adds four-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer case, an automatic locking rear differential, hill descent control, remote engine start, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, heated front seats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated exterior mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, a sliding rear window, a rear window defogger, an upgraded tailgate with integrated storage, and 120-volt power outlets on the rear console and in the bed.

    2024 GMC Canyon AT4X
    The AT4X starts with the features of the AT4 and adds 17-inch wheels, beefier mud-terrain tires, an off-road tuned suspension with a 1-inch additional lift, Multimatic DSSV dampers, selectable locking front and rear differentials, rock rails, additional skid plates, a spray-in bedliner, all-weather floor mats, and a trailering package. The AT4X also gets the features of the Canyon Safety Plus, Technology, Technology Plus and AT4 Premium packages.

    Standard tech and safety features include a Bose stereo system, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot warning with trailer coverage.

    The new available AT4X AEV package takes off-roading to the next level. It comes with 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, steel front and rear bumpers with recovery hooks, boron steel underbody skid plates, and a full-size spare in a cargo-bed mount.

    2024 GMC Canyon Denali
    The luxurious Denali trim gets nearly all the features of the AT4X, plus 20-inch wheels, chrome exterior trim, exclusive interior trim, and a three-year subscription to OnStar Premium services.
