2020 GMC Acadia For Sale Near Asheville
Buyers looking for a midsize three-row crossover that features a very spacious interior, excellent handling and a nice list of features that come standard should take a look at the 2020 GMC Acadia. If you’ve owned or driven the GMC Acadia in the past, you’ll love the 2020 update, which adds a bolder face than last year’s model. Acadia drivers will appreciate the new nine-speed transmission, which replaces last year’s six-speed transmission. The nine-speed gearbox provides even better fuel efficiency and quicker acceleration. According to the Asheville Chevrolet dealer, customers love the new optional turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
A new feature that’s popular with customers of the Asheville Chevrolet dealership is the latest version of the GMC infotainment system. The 2020 GMC Acadia also gets fast-charging USB-C ports. Most notable among the new features is a new AT4 trim level, which takes the Acadia’s bold styling to the next level and adds on improvements for mild off-roading.
The 2020 GMC Acadia is available in five trim levels, listed as SL, SLE, SLT, AT4 and Denali. Powering the SL and SLE models is a 2.5-liter engine that develops 193 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. Look under the hood of the SLT and Denali and you’ll find a 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit that generates 230 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The AT4 is motivated by a 3.6-liter V6 that makes 310 hp and 271 lb-ft of torque. This engine is available on all other trims except the base SL. Transmission duties are handled by a nine-speed automatic. The AT4 gets standard all-wheel drive, while the other models get standard front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is available on all models except the base SL.
Although the SL is the entry-liv model, it still comes with a nice set of features, including keyless open and start, tri-zone auto climate control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7.0-inch color touchscreen, a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, five years of OnStar and five USB ports. Parents of small children will appreciate the standard rear-seat reminder system, which helps to prevent children and belongings from being left in the vehicle.
At the SLE/SLT level, buyers get standard features that include leather upholstery, a power liftgate, an 8-inch touchscreen, a Bose stereo system, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, IntelliLink and navigation.
The Denali and AT4 models come with many appearance and convenience features and a host of driver-assistance features. Many trims get an upgraded wireless charging pad, a digital rear-vision camera and LED front lighting.
On the inside, the driver and passengers are met with a beautiful cabin that’s even more upscale than last year’s model. Highlights include modern styling, soft-touch surfaces and active noise cancellation. Buyers can choose 60/40 bench seats or captain’s chairs for the second row. Meanwhile, the 2020 Acadia’s updated Smart Slide system helps passengers get in and out of the third row. There’s 12.8 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row. Fold the second and third rows flat and you’ll have 79 cubic feet of space.
